‘there’s a lot of beautifully observed hilarity in Harry Petty’s play. This film set is full of outlandish characters with huge egos and Ollie Hart and Harry Warren, both fine performers, play them all with a wide range of voices, the odd hat and a couple of pairs of glasses. At one point Hart does a three way conversation all by himself and it’s very funny… It rattles on with as much realism as romp. And the asides to audience are nicely judged. And yet, like all good comedies, there are some serious issues underneath to give the play a bit of depth…This entertaining, pleasingly original show runs just over an hour and is well worth catching’ ★★★★ London Pub Theatres

‘Wrap Party has all the authenticity of truth as we see how Ollie and Harry deal with the boiler probs and hob probs that appear as they negotiate a way through melodramatic film people. But in amongst this hectic life they always keep their friendship alive. Harry Petty directs Ollie and Harry as they play all the parts with a minimum of fuss or prop change – and stupendously so. ‘Ollie Hart and Harry Warren play two friends who run a cramped catering caravan on a busy film set. One of the best reasons for seeing this play is the detailed set designed by Alfie Frost and Tash Tudor, stage right being the interior of the caravan, complete with coffee machine, oven, fridge, sink and worktops, with the outdoor eating area taking up stage left. So detailed is the set that it would be a great pity if the play did not reappear at other London fringe venues in the coming year… an enjoyable evening!’ London Theatre 1
