The Worldwide Ukrainian Play Readings Project
produced by The Jack Studio Theatre
The Worldwide Ukrainian Play Readings Project is working round the clock to bring the words of Ukraine’s amazing and courageous playwrights to the world by translating dozens of their plays, many written in the last few weeks from the frontline – raw, immediate and powerful.
The Jack Studio is proud to present six of these short plays written by six different playwrights during a time of war in this one-off playreading event.
All artists are gifting their time for this event so all ticket sales for this performance will go directly to two charities: Ukrainian Emergency Performing Arts Fund and Voices, which helps children affected by war.
Please come and join us to show solidarity with these Ukrainian theatre makers.
The Worldwide Ukrainian Play Reading project was initiated by American critic John Freedman.
