Join us at the Jack Studio this half-term for this fun puppetry workshop with artists from LAStheatre.

Building on the themes of Rachel Bright and Jim Field’s The Whale Who Wanted More, we will create whale puppets from found treasures and teach you how to bring them to life and swim across the sea – don’t forget to practice your whale noises!

This arts-based workshop, part of London Borough of Culture 2022, gently explores climate change through ocean plastics and the various strange treasures Humphrey (the whale) might find at the bottom of the sea – all whilst keeping the book’s themes of sharing and kindness at its heart.
