Two strangers meet in a pub toilet in a small town that no one cares about. Liam, struggling with addiction and money troubles, has never left the claustrophobic town that birthed him. He’s lost everything, if he ever had it. Alex, cloaked in a Hugo Boss suit and the pride of a job in Canary Wharf, comes down to visit this quaint place with his girlfriend and potentially future wife. It seems like he has everything. However, as the door locks, and time clocks, a dark connection begins to unearth itself.
Sniff is based in a fictional small city on the outskirts of London, it is an ode to the forgotten.
Make It Beautiful Theatre Company is a London-based collective with a passion for dark comedy and European-theatre. MIB aims to put this in the work they do, as they themselves studied the Vakhtangov technique in Moscow a few years ago. After touring their five-star hit show, The CO-OP, their improv show The Dream Machine, and working on a rural horror-play at the Norwich Theatre, they now come to you with Sniff.
