DANI’S INFERNO is a new musical comedy exploring the relationship between human desire and the climate crisis.

London is flooding and is days, maybe hours, away from being fully submerged. Dani is going around London, knocking on doors, trying to alert people and get them to safety when she stumbles upon a house party full of people who have no idea.

In this musical comedy, watch Dani party through the relationship between our desire to live and the realisation that our desires might just be the thing that’s killing us.

The selection of songs were well written original compositions, covering everything it meant to be a Londoner. From train delays and pub culture to complaining…about complaining. Eyres puts her own comedic spin on the things covered in her songs… Eyres’ singing ability was strong and captivating.

Eyres is a triple threat who everyone should look out for in the future as she has a lot of potential. Being able to write, sing and act in a one woman show that is poignant, thought provoking, urgent and captivating at a brisk pace of 60 minutes whilst leaving the audience wanting more and the ending being left up to interpretation is extremely impressive. ★★★★ London Pub Theatres

Eyres embodies each character with swift ease, only needing to tweak an accent or a physicality to clearly stipulate which character has our attention. Moments are punctuated with incredibly catchy and well-written songs that elevate the production and provide moments of brevity to an otherwise overwhelming topic. This is supported by Eyres’ vocal talent; melodies seem to soar in her midst, quips appear with delightful side-glances to the audience, and we are otherwise transported to her world by means of her music.

Dani’s Inferno was a delight to watch, and is most certainly a great show catch at this year’s SE Fest. ★★★★ A Young(ish) Perspective
